Nancy is a warm and supportive teacher that leads from her heart and is passionate about sharing the gift of yoga in and outside the studio. CFCR is committed to the value of offering regular yoga to the CrossFit athlete with the convenience of dedicated private space within our facility. Nancy has been a part of our staff and dedicated member since our inception offering twice-weekly restorative yoga for CrossFit athletes on Thursdays evenings and Saturday mornings. The sessions are modified each week based on the focus of the weekly WODs to accommodate the needs of the CRCF athlete always with an emphasis on opening shoulders and hips and always making time for an optional shoulder/neck massage in savasana. She has developed a committed following within our community of CrossFitYogis that are dedicated to maintaining a yin-yang balance between strength, mobility and well being.
She has dedicated over fifteen years to practicing yoga and the past four years to teaching yoga. Her practice includes a commitment to balancing regular yoga and meditation along with a passion for fitness that includes CrossFit and long distance running. Nancy received her initial 200 Hour Yoga Alliance teaching certificate from Onyx Yoga Studio and has completed advanced teacher training in Chromatic Yoga and Applied Anatomy with Matt Giordano. She is grateful to her teachers have taught her the value of alignment, spirituality, laughter and the pure joy that comes from paying it forward and watching your students grow and see the value that yoga can bring to their life.
